The Bongene Search Women’s Leadership Scholarship

Bongene Search founder, Diana Ji, is always looking for ways to empower those around her. Knowing that education is the crucible from which the next generation of leaders is formed, she is excited to offer The Bongene Search Women’s Leadership Scholarship to a committed female student who is studying in the life sciences, healthcare or engineering related, with an eventual goal of starting their own business or non-profit organization.

This award is offered twice per year, in the fall and spring semesters to women, including people who identify as women. It is not needs-based.

Applicants must:

Be accepted, or plan to apply, to an accredited college in the United States

Have an idea for a business or non-profit organization related to the life sciences or public health and be able to explain their vision for that organization

Arisa Chue, the inaugural recipient of the 2022 scholarship, is a dedicated and innovative sophomore studying Computer Science at Stanford University. Her entrepreneurial drive and unique business concept make her a promising pioneer in the fields of life sciences, healthcare, and engineering.

This scholarship provides one ($1000) award to one student for either the fall or the spring semester. The scholarship recipient will be notified of their award by September 30th, 2023, for the Fall 2023 scholarship award.

The scholarship deadline for the Fall 2023 semester is September 10th, 2023.
